Glow Up: Ten Years, Side by Side
A glow-up post only works as a pair. One image is a nice photograph; two images with the same face in them is a story, and the story is what gets shared.
What it does to a photograph
Produces the polished half of the pair and keeps your photo as the other half. Grooming, styling, lighting and posture are lifted to a deliberate best-version, while the features that make the comparison legible are held fixed. If the face changes, the before and after stops meaning anything.
Which photo to use
A plain, unposed photo is the better input here, not your best one. The comparison needs somewhere to travel from, and a photo already shot well leaves it nothing to do.
What people use it for
Transformation posts, fitness and styling accounts, and anyone who wants the pair without waiting a decade for the second half.
